Positive: Kathy was beyond wonderful. She couldn't do enough for her guests and went the extra mile to help me out when I had a very bad reaction to some sort of insect bite I had picked up in France. The property is immaculately clean and the rooms spacious and very comfortable. There is a lovely garden you can relax in and enjoy. The breakfast was great. Just note the property is a bit isolated so plan your evenings accordingly. There are loads of restaurants in Ypres and some in the local villages.

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at Madelette B&B. Kathy is an excellent host and ensured every detail of our stay was to our liking. She gave us many recommendations for places to eat and other suggestions nearby. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and a lovely terrace to ourselves. The breakfast was also incredible - Kathy makes pretty much everything herself and it is all delicious. I particularly loved Kathy’s homemade chocolate spread! The closest restaurants are about a 30minute walk away through beautiful fields and a village.
