Summary: The hosts were terrific. My bed was dreamy. Plenty of hot water in the shower with good pressure. Breakfast was different and fabulous every day. I had a wonderful 4 night stay.

Summary: Our time at Mad River Inn was incredible from start to finish. Brandon and Susannah were extremely helpful and gracious hosts . They greeted us at the door and attended to every need we had from snacks, to restaurant and shopping recommendations, to a brief history of the property. Some special highlights of the experience included the hottub, gameroom, unlimited tea, extremely comfortable king bed, and delicious, decadent home-cooked breakfasts. I would absolutely recommend Mad River Inn to any traveler staying in this area of Vermont. 100/10!

Summary: We had a great stay at the Mad River Inn. Wonderful hosts, lovely old inn, delicious breakfast (and afternoon cookies!), impressive tea selection, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had to cut our stay short unexpectedly, but we’ll be back!
