Positive: It was a good location with a beautiful view of the sea. The owner was very pleasant and helpful with restaurant recommendations.

Negative: The room was a little small and the shower stall had no lip so the water would pour out under the door.

Positive: Good location. Close to road and main town. Friendly host. Lots of security. Lots of coffee available in room.

Negative: Shower door didn't keep all the water out. Low ceiling and hard to see step in bathroom . Rock in the shower? Water pressure for top shower head too low. Had to use only the handheld sprayer. Steps all over the place makes it difficult in the dark to get around. Breakfast could be better than crackers and cookies..

Positive: The rooms are small, but they are clean and very well maintained. The property is quiet, and our room had a great view down coast to Manarola. This is almost like staying at a friend's house. The owner is on-site for several hours every day. Massimo knows the ins and outs of the trails, busses, and trains, and he is eager help you find the best options. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Positive: Massimilano who hosted us was superb. He was such a delight, a bottle of wine on arrival, helped us with information and always smiling. Not like most places where you don't know if the host is even a person. Massimilano was number one across all of Europe!
