Positive: Comfortable but relaxed and simple. Even when fully booked it’s not ‘busy’ but just the right number of people, and plenty of room for all guests to have their privacy and space. Very good size rooms.

Positive: This is a hidden gem. I have been to beaches and lodges in Asia before and nothing, absolutely nothing compares to the wonderful Machangulo beach. In the lodge, the staff is 10/10 (all speak English and Portuguese fluently), the food is AMAZING and the suites are PERFECT. I recommend doing the activities the lodge offers, specially snorkeling -- I felt as if I was inside the little mermaid movie seeing all these wonderful creatures under the sea. Paulo, the guide is super amazing. If you are not confident enough, he holds your hand throughout, but he makes sure that you get the experience which you paid for. I cannot wait to return to the Machangulo Beach Lodge. All the best to Mr. Jose and all of his team.
