Positive: The location to Aviemore, the leisure facilities on site (pool, gym etc), and the kids entertainment continues to draw you to these tired "lodges".

Negative: The "lodges" are extremely basic and tired. For the price you pay they really need to be significantly modernized. There is no way you could cook for a family of 6 for a week with no oven and basic, old and done pots and pans.

Summary: The location and leisure facilities made up for the very very poor accommodation.

Positive: Quiet woodland location on a dead-end road (little traffic). Near to amenities on resort and off (station / supermarket / restaurants)

Negative: Lodge facilities disappointing. The kitchen was tiny with no oven and there was not enough cutlery for the six bed chalet. Despite asking at reception, no additional was provided.
