Positive: Quiet location in the countryside amongst 2 golf courses. Spacious comfortable bedrooms. Excellent swimming pool which wasn’t busy when I used this facility in the evening and the next morning before breakfast. Coffee making facilities in room included a nespresso machine in my deluxe king size room.

Negative: Dust and dirt behind bedside tables. Restaurant & bar fairly standard for a large hotel & lack any unique character although food & service was fine. Access to outside space from bedroom was north facing so in the shade on a sunny afternoon when I arrived

Negative: Claims dog friendly but not - should say accepts dogs….we booked an evening meal but had to eat in the bar- however due to huge amount of golfers (on a package so also in bar) we had to squash in - the table wasn’t ready - and it was so loud. Breakfast next morning - there wasn’t a table ready for us (they said sit anywhere in the bar but the tables were longe tables not eating tables) I think if no dogs this hotel would be fine

Positive: It was very nice property, although expensive we had a nice room, safe wasn’t working though!

Negative: Including 2 breakfasts on day 2 we spent over £500 which I thought was expensive for what it was.

Summary: We weren’t in the hotel much as we were at a wedding day and night. The breakfast was poor ran out of food and it was on

Positive: We very much liked our room, we are golfers ourselves, and overlooking thr 1st tee and 18th green was brilliant

Negative: We thought that the breakfast could have been a lot better. You ran out of fresh juice, and in the half an hour we were there, it wasn't refilled. There were NO beans at breakfast on the Saturday, which we thought was very disappointing, no white bread during our breakfast, and had to ask for an extra egg. If you want breakfast to be a buffet style, then let people help themselves or table service would have been better
