Summary: That was very poor from start to finish we was given aroom there was a naked man on the bed .they had a lovely courtyard but trying to get service out there or drink was absolutely terrible outside pool was not a pool was more of a plunge pool some very good photography going on that one indoor pool was okay would have been nice as it was a spa hotel to be able to get a drink and sit by the pool but you couldn't payed extra for inclusive breakfast even this had surcharges if you have a poached egg on toast with a bit of avocado had to pay six pounds you could have a full English with sausage and beans didn't make sense .If you like cocktails don't bother they didn't know how to make them had mojito there was no sugar syrups in it all the Bloody Mary they must have put the whole pot of tabasco in it, also the sign in the car park that says free for people who are staying at the hotel that isn't true it's only if you book through the hotel if you gone Through a booking agent it's not free room was clean but could have done with a little paint lots of marks on the walls staff were friendly but useless it's a shame really because it's in a nice setting about 10 minutes walk into bath it needs really is the staff to be better trained and maintenance to be kept up I'm nearly forgot don't flush the loo in the night the plumbing makes a horrendous noise

Summary: I stayed in August. The outdoor pool was at a good temperature. However the pool looked tired with many tiles missing . The spa was dated again with Lights out and tiles missing . Our bed room was clean and avery comfy bed . The staff in the bar could not be found and a queue formed for drinks from 10 pm

Summary: Not the best stay considering it should be 5 star! I upgraded my room but the aircon wasn’t working and the bathroom towel rail would not switch off so the room was very warm! They did offer a fan! I did make them aware of these issues on departure but they didn’t seem to be very apologetic!

Summary: Very disappointing for a hotel at this price point We paid almost £400 for one night in a Deluxe Garden View room. At that price, I don't think it is unreasonable to expect the facilities advertised with the room to actually work. The air conditioning did not work and the room was extremely hot. We reported it on the evening we arrived but were told there were no other rooms available, so we had little choice but to spend the night in an uncomfortably hot room. What made the situation considerably worse was the way it was handled the following morning. When I raised it at reception, I was initially told that the hotel did not advertise air conditioning and that they had asked for references to air conditioning to be removed because they could not guarantee it. I then showed the receptionist the Hotels.com listing on my phone, which clearly stated that the room had air conditioning. At that point she took a photograph of the listing and acknowledged that they had apparently been trying to get references to air conditioning removed. That was particularly frustrating. If the hotel knows it cannot reliably provide air conditioning, rooms should not be sold on the basis that air conditioning is one of the facilities.

Summary: My friend drove us to the hotel and helped us check in. He parked for about 20 minutes, and when we asked the front desk how long we could park for free, she didn't know. My friend have to paying about £2.20 for help us check in . The room is very hot.

Summary: Wasn’t the best no body wash, mold in the shower no one greeting you long line to speak to the desk. Rude staff at breakfast and long wait, property was not very well maintained

Summary: Beautiful location. One of most expensive hotels and lovely se ting and hotel plus gardens. Let down somewhat by outsourcing some services and understaffing. Some tired fixtures and fittings. Parking in particular is badly served. Why charge for parking? And why for guest to then register with outside agency to pay? Crazy.

Summary: Lovely staff, great rooms, pool was lovely but busy. The biggest single let down was breakfast. It was OK nothing special but charging £4 for a speciality coffee and then £6 to upgrade your breakfast for a come of extra bits was just cheap and penny pinching. I typically spend 100+ nights a year in hotels from 3* to 5* and the breakfast thing stuck out out bad.
