Summary: When we arrived at 3pm the room was not ready. It was me that had to ask the Receptionist about paying for parking. The air-conditioner was not working and it was very warm in the room even though we had a fan
Carol Jul 6, 2025 03:23:05 PM
Summary: Lovely hotel central town

Summary: Hotel was spotless, room decor dated. Stayed during a heat wave and air conditioning was inadequate. Staff were excellent which more than made up for it

Summary: Just an overnight stay to attend RSC. On such a hot day/night the air conditioning in our room was most welcome and made for a far better nights sleep. The hotel is working hard to make itself greener which is great to see. It is a little tired in some areas but I note work is taking place to address this. It would help if the reception area was bigger and had more staff to check-in or out. Finally, this venue is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Summary: Stayed in a standard king, the front of the buolding looked lovely butvwe were put at the back of the build that seemed to have been built in the 70s? (Not nice looking) the room was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable but the window wouldnt open, the aircon made a terrible knocking noise but there was a fan in the room. The bathroom had seen better days, the wash basin had a huge crack running though it and it was chipped. There was a hole in a wall tile by the toilet and the towel rail had a screw missing on the top of the rail and half hanging out on the bottom! My wife gas a dairy intolerance so we asked for oat milk but they didnt have any so i had to by some from the shop next door. Some staff were pleasant but alot ignored you when walking around the hotel. Wont be going back.

deborah May 16, 2025 11:26:33 PM
Summary: On arriving to our room we had no cold water, maintenance was called in and was rectified within the hr, the rim of the toilet our room was disgusting needs a good clean, and air conditioning was not working so didn’t sleep due to room being so hot, being on the ground floor didn’t want to open windows. Breakfast was lovely. Such a shame as it did spoil our stay
