Positive: Lovely bungalow ,clean and cosy , friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Plenty of towels. Superb views over surrounding farmland. Very peaceful and private. Flowers and food on my arrival, and I got to play with a beautiful friendly Spaniel every day.

Positive: Location was ok. 1. There was Milk and eggs bread and jam butter. 2. There was enough cutlery 3. Bed was great and Pillows were the best.

Negative: 1. The google maps post code is not correct. You should use the complete address to reach.There were detailed written instructions which I always find difficult to follow getting to the location. At the night in the pouring rain it was dreadful to get to it.The post code took me 2 mins away with similar setup and I was looking at the cottages with phone light in pouring rain and cold at 12:30am 2. The place had two main storage heaters in the living room and passage which is not very good to control the heat and you end up in wrapping yourself in the hall. Thankfully there were electric heaters in the room. 3. Bathroom had dimplex heaters so if you are going to toilet be ready to sit on freezing cold sheet. 4. Kitchen did not have a proper chimney setup there was a vent which was told that it had charcoal filter but I was really afraid to cook and get the chimney place fill up with the cooking with spices. 5. The kitchen taps were separate for Cold and Hot water and it was so unpleasant to use. 6. Main door lock is moody it blocked me inside as it was not opening completely. Hot delayed to my meeting fit 10mins. Never was able to find what was the reason. Landowner did helped me to get out.

Positive: Excellent accommodation. John was lovely. Very comfortable beds and very clean. We had 9 nights here and wished we had booked longer.

Negative: The only things my missing were somewhere to wash and dry clothes and for a long trip this time of year, it would have been perfect not to have to take so many clothes and come home to so much washing!!!

Positive: Nice relaxing place to get away from a busy environment. Driving around is a bit tricky due to narrow roads.

Negative: To entertain the kids had to take them away every day since it’s in a rural area. Everyday had to drive around 2hours up and down to find an activity.

Positive: A proper little oasis - so quiet. Lovely touch to have supplies left for us for breakfast. Mabel popped over to welcome us although Buddy was a little unsure. Thoughtful to have provided dog paraphernalia, like bowls, biscuits and towels if needed.

Negative: Nothing, it was a perfect break.

Summary: The best holiday, lovely accommodation in a peaceful location.
