Positive: The room were nice with comfy beds. The staff were very friendly and accommodating allowing us to check out slightly later for our flight.

Negative: I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience at Mahupay Spa at the hotel - one of my worst in Philippines. I had a scrub and massage service booked. When I first arrived, I was asked to sign a paper that was completely blank. When I questioned why I was being asked to sign without any details filled in, the staff member became visibly irritated and made an unpleasant face instead of explaining properly. This already felt unprofessional. The scrub service itself was done very aggressively and without any care or comfort. After the scrub, when I was asked to shower, the area near the shower was flooded with water. There were no safety measures in place at all, and I almost slipped and fell. It was extremely dangerous and careless on the spa’s part. The massage that followed felt very rushed. There was no effort to create a calm, seamless experience. There was no guidance on what to wear next or what the next steps were—you were left guessing the entire time. The overall service lacked coordination and professionalism. There were three of us getting massages, and all of us felt the same way: the service was rushed, poorly managed, and unprofessional. For a spa experience, this was stressful rather than relaxing. I would not recommend this place, especially considering the lack of safety, poor customer handling, and unprofessional service.
