Positive: Clean Room, Comfortable bed, pool facilities, friendly staff, Good views, breakfast (paid) was good, cafe downstairs. An Issue was resolved after contacting the owners.

Negative: Cigarette smoke from the cafe wafted up the lift shaft into the upstairs premises. Then, being met by the smokers' smoke when leaving the lift to access the kitchen through the cafe. Location was not central in D2.

Summary: Nice homestay accommodation with Pool.

Positive: The coffee shop underneath served tasty coffee. Very clean, very comfortable! Cute balcony overlooking a nice residential area which was nice to drinking a hot coffee and people watching.

Positive: The facilities were exceptional and made me feel like home. The pool is almost chlorine-free (smell-free and completely harmless, I meant) and the room is comfy. The location is also a plus for both domestic and foreign guests. There are plenty of stores, eating places (for example The Pizza Companies and Popeyes for those who want to take a short break from Vietnamese cuisine). Đối với khách Việt thì đi xuống đường lớn xíu nữa là bạt ngàn đồ ăn luôn. There are some convenience stores nearby if you want to cook the food yourself but I'd not recommend it, at least for any time soon (I'm writing this in June 12th; you can read my "What didn't you like" section to know why). The place is located in an "alley-like" street, hence it is a very peaceful place for couple/family vacation with little to no traffic throughout the day. More about the location, you can go to Saigon's center easily if you can afford to rent a motorbike since the ward is near Thao Dien (Thảo Điền), Thu Thiem (Thủ Thiêm), as well as D. 1 and D. 4. Great location, I would say.

Negative: The kitchen was not very clean during our stay. My guess is that this was the vacation peak, so the staffs could not take care very well the kitchen (they do everything else perfect, by the way), which is, in my opinion, understandable. I think they will soon improve on this. It seemed that the trash in the kitchen was not taken out frequently. The gas stove was only partly functionable and was not very friendly to use. Salt, spoons, and cooking oil were missing, Lyly's house provided sugar, pepper, and MSG but not salt. There were cobwebs and we encountered a cockroach. Still, it was enough for us (with extra items which we have to buy ourselves) to cook most meals during our stay. I would recommend Lyly's house to improve on the hygiene part, to fix the stove, as well as to provide salt, spoons, and cooking oil.
