Positive: Lydford House is a charming retreat set on the edge of Dartmoor, blending elegance with cozy comfort. The beautifully maintained gardens and the fairy-lit bar area create a truly magical atmosphere. Inside, the rooms and communal spaces feel sophisticated yet inviting. Jodie was excellent at communicating, warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We felt well cared for. Each morning, breakfast was great: a generous continental buffet with fruit, cereals, yogurts, toast and a variety of jams, followed by a Full English. The service and presentation was amazing throughout. Every aspect, from the cleanliness to the welcoming ambiance, reflects Jodie’s dedication and service. Lydford House is exceptionally well looked after, it was a wonderful stay, thank you!

Positive: Everything! Beautiful house and gardens in a gorgeous location. Room was superb and Jodie was extremely helpful. And a delicious full breakfast as well! Two lovely little sheep looked after the lawns, too!
