Positive: Property is dramatic and spacious. Very light. A surfeit of technology, some of which is probably redundant (complex lighting on the upper floor we were never able to figure out). Great location

Negative: Fridge and cupboards full of opened (and often past their sell by date) foodstuffs. Only one key provided, made coordination a challenge as there were three of us staying there. Dirty carpets, internal drawers could have been cleaner, basin waste plug in second bathroom does not work, some of the blinds were not operational making sleep difficult as there is a lot of window in the place. Checking in required we complied with the host's opera attendance and was less than convenient.

Summary: This place could be fabulous but there is plenty the owner should do to achieve this.

Positive: It was a penthouse apartment so it had everything if you wanted to cook. We di not cook because we wanted to get out and see Berlin. We rented bikes to get around.

Negative: Unfortunately booking.com communication with the owner was not what we expected. We booked and thought it was available asap. The owner had people stay and was planning on having it cleaned the next day. Everything was booked and he went up and beyond to get the cleaning lady to come back at 10:30 pm and give us a key. He was in Spain. Thank-you again. Your new friend from United States.
