Positive: Comfortable and attractive interior. Good shower.

Negative: Main issue - Value For Money poor because we chose this property as appeared close enough to walk to a venue we were visiting. Arriving, our taxi checked we were actually at our intended destination. The area didnt feel safe to walk anywhere so added expense/inconvenience of Ubers everywhere (to and from the accommodation). Wasnt expecting to need transport. Milk sachets left out for use were all "gone off" - like cheese? Disappointing. Photo included. I binned the lot. Strange that there was no bin bag in kitchen bin. Maybe an oversight, just like something resembling piece of red chilli on floor (by bin). Photo included - we diidnt cook so wasnt ours? Bedrooms small but all rooms attractively furnished and comfortable. On a side note, arranged for access from 3pm. Travelling by train, our arrival was an estimate. Arrived 2.30pm, desperate to use the loo. Couldnt access property as was a smart lock and kept refusing entry, despite using correct code from owner. Contacted owner who advised we couldnt enter until 3pm. We were left to stand and wait for 30 mins. Even 2.59pm, still locked out. 3.01pm, success. Please be aware that visitors cant always control their arrival by road or rail. I was disappointed by zero flexibility as the property was empty and ready for occupation. This didnt make sense and was frustrating. I was very uncomfortable needing the loo after travelling for a few hours. I "held on" to avoid using train loo, thinking I could use the one at the property. Some flexibility would have been appreciated. The area isn't one I would stay in again. The photos dont show the derelict (almost apocolyptic) outlook and surroundings. I wish I had taken photos of that.
