2 Bedroom Condo in Okanagan-Similkameen, Osoyoos

This Penthouse lakefront condominium is spacious and bright and is the choice unit in the complex. It is located at Lakeshore Villas formerly known as Village On The Lake in Osoyoos on Lakeshore Drive. This is without a doubt the premier luxury unit in the entire complex. The views are spectacular as this end unit condominium has a fabulous lake view from the great room, master bedroom and second bedroom. Located three floors high, the large 300 square foot balcony is so close to the lake that you will feel like you are on top of the water.
All the furniture is new and luxury is the operative word in this 1300 square foot suite. The condominium has stainless steal appliances, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and microwave and granite counter tops. This is the only unit in the complex with a double steam shower unit in the second bathroom. Enjoy the king size Tempur- Pedic bed in the master while gazing out at the lake. Have full use of the walk-in closets. In the great room you can sit in front of the fireplace, while watching TV on a 55-inch flat screen TV or enjoy the 42 LED TV in the master bedroom.
The front entrance and kitchen is tiled while the remainder of the living areas have quality hardwood floors with area rugs.
The second bedroom has a single bed over a double bunk bed and a single trundle bed that pulls out from under the bunk bed(sleeps 4 in this room). The dining room seats six, and three bar stools are connected to the kitchen area. The balcony has patio furniture for six and a stainless steal propane barbecue. Enter the condominium from the stairs or from the elevator.
The complex has its own swimming pool, fitness center, hot tub, and a large 30 foot by 100 foot dock, perfect for lounging, patio tables, swimming and enjoying the lake. Tie up your boat at the dock for easy access(special arrangement).Beside the comlex is a public sandy beach. Enjoy complementary wifi internet access and a large selection of cable tv channels.
The condo was completely repainted in late 2023 and the appliances have been updated.

Summary: The condo is large with an amazing view. The pool and grounds are very well maintained. Stephen responded to the few questions we had quickly. We visit Osoyoos annually, but this was our first stay at Lakeshore. We like the location as it is a way from hotel row. We were able to leave our kayaks secured on the wharf which was a bonus.

Summary: We like the well equipped kitchen, good size patio with lovely lake view and there is ample room for 4 adults and 1 toddler to stay comfortably. The host was quick to answer all my questions prior to the trip. We swam several times a day by jumping off the private dock right across the street or a small patch of sandy/semi rocky beach 2 minutes walk. The water was refreshing and fairly warm to swim in end of August. We do find some areas can be muddy to our liking or filled with seaweed that can be bothersome for a bad swimmer like me who like to stand in the water a lot. Also there is limited shade on the nearby sandy beach so it can get tricky to social distance properly. That said, there are so many beaches all around Osoyoos within a quick drive or there are lots of water activities if you are not into swimming.

Summary: This accommodation far exceeds what a hotel does. The unit is much nicer than the pictures show on the website. I loved the decor (artwork, rugs) and the cupboard of plastic kids dishes was a nice touch. Pool was perfect temperature and depth was great for kids. Kitchen fully stocked. We even tried the steam room even though was July - and was fabulous!
