Think of your day spent kayaking from your canal or even floating on the tubes. Picture yourself laying in the double hammock by the firepit sipping your margarita you will make with the Margaritaville Margarita maker (BYO firewood & supplies for the frozen beverage of your choice). (Hottub only available November- February) You & your family will have endless hours of enjoyment playing outdoor games such as: giant Jenga, oversized connect 4, giant Yahtzee or corn hole. For time inside you will LOVE the classic arcade games such as Ms Pac-man, a wheel of fortune machine, a high-end pool table & MANY board games to choose from! For the singers in your group we have karaoke! Savor family time around the custom made, gorgeous table! This masterpiece seats 10-12 (others can sit at the bar table or island).
The only challenge will be leaving! *Please note: we love to have your well behaved furry family member. HOWEVER- you must add it to the booking and we do NOT allow cats due to allergies. * PLEASE NOTE- For safety purposes we have a ring doorbell camera as well as TWO cameras on the back facing out toward the yard, hot tub & dock & 1 camera in front monitoring the driveway. These cameras record both audio and video and will be recording while guests are there. NONE can see inside the house

Summary: We celebrated Papa’s 80th Birthday with family. The layout was great for serving meals with the kitchen bar and open area. The grandkids enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boating. Fish were caught and released. Great memories were made.

Summary: So we stayed for three days the week between Christmas and New Years 2024. The home exceeded our expectations. Great sleeping arrangements for 4 adults and 5 children under the age of 10. Kids loved the video games and the adults the pool table. The hot tub by the lake was also a big hit for that time of the year. We planned to use the paddleboat and kayaks but ran out of time. There’s an HEB grocery about 5 minutes away so there is no need to haul food from home. But our hosts provide lots of treats that we enjoyed the first day there. Great location to visit nearby sites; Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Park, Dinosaur Valley State Park, and yep! the Creation Museum (a stop that should be on everyone’s bucket list. And of course, Granbury during Christmas time is always fun. Thanks for sharing your getaway pad. We may be calling you again next Christmas!

Summary: We loved the place, hosts were very responsive and hospitable. The only complaint we had were that the couches were woefully inadequate for our crew. Very few places to really relax. Other than that, it’s a nice property.
