From the home enjoy open water and mountain views. Open concept main level & huge windows across the back under cathedral ceiling. Four fireplaces; gas in living room, den and master, a beautiful real wood burning on large covered deck. Top of the line appliances and finishings throughout, this home is stocked with all you will need. Every bedroom has a private and spacious bathroom. Half bath located on main. The basement offers a den & pull out sofa, wet bar/fridge, fireplace, TV, and private patio area.

Summary: We enjoyed a family get together. House had all the space/rooms that we needed. Kitchen was well supplied. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace as it rained all weekend. Nice lake view.

Summary: Very clean home. A few minor issues for example: the side door was unlocked at check- in, couldn’t get the side door to lock during our stay so we had to put a table in front for safety purposes, we noticed a few minor damages (we immediately reported them to the property manager), and only one tv worked during our stay (master bedroom). Both, upstairs and downstairs didn’t have working remotes/ batteries. However, we entertained each other and enjoyed listening to the the JBL speaker. Going down to the lake was easy but a challenge coming up. Overall, clean property and great Mountain View from the front porch. We LOVE Nebo.

Summary: My family and I have the best stay here. The house is beautiful with high end appliances and finishes. Mountain View’s off the front porch and water views out the back. This place was perfect for our family!

Summary: It was a nice property, with height end fixtures…some minor damage was visible when we first arrived and we reported what we found to property manager. View was stunning and house was cozy. Had plenty on pots and pans, etc. even had sugar and and some other non-parishibles that were left by previous renters (coffee filters etc). Just a warning, be careful on stairs to lower floor…very slippery when wearing socks.

Summary: We stayed at Lake James for the second time - a lovely winter respite. We enjoy the location - close to Asheville and Black Mountain, close to hiking and tubing and skiing in Linville and Banner Elk and Boone. House was beautiful and well-maintained - had everything we needed. Would recommend.

Summary: Earlier posts about the difficulty of the locks weren’t an issue, just follow the instructions. Great communication with property manager. The steps to the dock need some work byt are adequate. The only real complaint is that the barbeque grill simply needs to be replaced. We had to buy a brush to clean the build up on the grates and clean the burner tubes to get it to function. At this price point it should be ready to go. Everything else worked fine & the outdoor fireplace was nice, with plenty. Of firewood.
