Enjoy this luxury vacation home on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. The light filled villa takes full advantage of the beautiful views of Canada as the majestic ships that pass right in front of your door and the gorgeous river sunsets. Cook in the amazing chefs kitchen and then swim in the St. Lawrence river!
Swim or boat off the dock right out your back door. Use the state of the art cook's kitchen, with Jenn-Air stove and stainless appliances throughout or grill on the patio with our gas grill.
Relax on the huge balcony overlooking the river with sitting area or have your breakfast on the dining set for six or swing on the porch swing on the downstairs patio while you sun in the landscaped yard between the house and the river.
There are two sitting areas: an upstairs living room with leather sofas that opens onto the upstairs balcony and a downstairs game/play room with uphostered sofa and chaise lounge where you can play shuffle board or open up the sliding doors to the downstairs patio and the river.
The upstairs master bedroom has a four poster bed and is surrounded with windows with views of the river. The master bath has a jacuzzi big enough for two and a shower. Downstairs are the two guest bedrooms: one surrounded by windows on two sides with river views and a queen bed and the other very large with a double bed and a twin with plenty of room left over for a crib or for the kids to play. The guest beds share a large bathroom with vanity and tub/shower combo.
Washer/dryer are located just off the downstairs bath and there is a half bath upstairs off the kitchen and living room. An extensive library and is also at your disposal, as well as all the area attractions.

Summary: While this area is seems to be a spectacular summer boating and water recreational area, we went in late September looking for a quiet, comfortable time away. We got exactly that. The property is just as described, located in a quiet late summer spot, close enough to restaurants and other necessities. Located right on the St. Lawrence, we had a spectacular view of the water and the bulk carriers heading to/from the Great Lakes - a perfect place for morning coffee and an afternoon cocktail! The owner and staff are available, friendly and super helpful. Highly recommended!

Summary: This is a fabulous house located in the St. Lawrence River with great views. The house is perfect for a couple of families to stay with master bedroom upstairs and two rooms downstairs. Plenty of spaces for everyone to sleep and everything is provided. We really enjoyed our week here and plan to stay again!!

Summary: Our stay at the Basta home was perfect. The home is well maintained, clean, and perfectly situated on the St Lawrence River. The home has HVAC which was necessary for the week we stayed! The dock is great for docking boats and we kept a pontoon docked during the duration of our stay! The sunsets are picturesque and we plan to stay again! Thank you for the opportunity to stay here!

Summary: House is beautiful with perfect setup for 2 families. River is clear and perfect for swimming. Had a great time exploring up and down the river - fishing was good. Definitely recommend 😊

Summary: WOW! What an amazing home. We docked my father-in - laws boat right in front of the house. It is such an open space with lots of light and life. An amazing view of the river from the balcony. We watched the sunset every evening, each night a new color. The deck leads to little stone steps that you can just dip your feet in or your children can play in. The ducks and geese come to visit a couple times. We drove to Alex Bay one day for a walk around town and diner . We used the grill on the porch the next evening. It has everything you need for a week of relaxation. One day it rained. So we played some of the board games in the house. We introduced our nephews to Disney's Aladdin. They have a bunch of Disney VHS tapes to watch. There is cable as well. You can pick up WiFi from the homes modem. It is an awesome location with everything you need. Huge bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, shuffleboard that your kids and you will really get into. I am hoping to rent this home every other year for our family reunion. These people understand how to take care of your family when you just want to get away from it all for a little while.

Summary: The home and grounds were absolutely wonderful! Not only was the home right on a very peaceful and beautiful stretch of the St. Lawrence River - but the home itself was an absolute delight to stay in. The entire house was designed well - large open rooms with an amazing view of the river. Every bedroom was large and the furnishings were very nice. There are floor to ceiling windows all along the river front side of the house - almost anywhere you are - there is a lovely view of the water. My sisters and I gathered for a "Sisters Weekend" and we had a truly wonderful time. Highly recommended!!!! Thanks to Nick and his family for providing us with such a magical vacation! Hope to be back soon!!!!

Summary: This home is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The lake views and the sunsets are breath taking. It is very equipped with all you will need ( just bring your food). Nick the owner is very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions you might have. We felt very at home here. We were able to rent a boat for the day.very reasonable, at black lake, only 20 minutes away.We had a wonderful day of fishing. We also went to Alexandria Bay and visited a beautiful Castle on Heart Island.30 minutes away. Plenty to do. We want to thank Nick for letting us use his wonderful home. It is one of the reasons we will be back to visit here. My husband and I really needed some time to relax, and this did the trick.

Summary: This is a wonderful home, with great features and amenities for families or a couple looking for a romantic getaway. The river is constantly changing with mesmerizing and dazzling sunsets. It is very close to Ogdensburg and 24-hour shopping, and the Thousand Islands, Ottawa, and Montreal are not far and make excellent day trips (assuming you can tear yourself away from the house and river)! The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are books, games, movies and a shuffleboard downstairs for those days the weather doesn't cooperate. I never got bored! You can also watch the shipping traffic, which is really cool! Nick (the owner) is wonderful to work with and very responsive. I definitely want to come back - it was good for my soul!
