Summary: Being in an old building that was just the 2 of us and even though it was right in the busy city centre, inside was another world.

Summary: Amazing place to stay, full of history. The accomodation is well laid out and is very comfortable. Having stopped at the other gatehouse earlier in the year this was massively larger and would suit a multiple night stay. Even with the external noise outside it's relatively quiet inside. Would be good if there was a history of the building available for visitors to read.....all in all though well worth booking

Summary: We loved the sense of space. A really nice kitchen on the ground floor, complete with a coffee machine. A large, relaxing lounge with a smart TV on the first floor. And then a very big bedroom, with en-suite bathroom, on the second floor. Great value for money, and a much nicer experience than stopping in an anonymous hotel.
