Positive: The apartment is well appointed, beautiful, comfortable, modern, secure. A treat to ‘come home to’ after exploring the city. Air conditioning worked well and was quiet. I would stay in this apartment again in a heartbeat.

Negative: Check in was confusing. Get a new property manager. The host should use WhatsApp to connect with customers the day before, and not yell at their customers. I guessed at my checkin time and received no personal communication after booking. It turned out we arrived late to Lisbon due to ground transport delay. I received a call on WhatsApp from the host, who was angry with me for ‘being late’, derided me for not telling her from where I was travelling that day, said she was not sure she would stay to give me the keys. (!) Another employee did in fact greet us on arrival, was pleasant and helpful. Confusing!

Summary: Gorgeous apartment: hated to leave, despite the difficult host.

Positive: Location was great and the layout was perfect for our family. Apartment had 2.5 bathrooms which was not part of the original description so that was a plus as well. Very modern and clean inside with great/quiet climate control settings in each room and reliable wifi access. Washer dryer was a plus.

Negative: Lack of details in description of apartment regarding down feather bedding (pillows and comforters) throughout apartment. A member of our family has a down feather allergy. There was no help from staff on helping us get non-allergic bedding so we were stuck with limited bedding and having to buy a new feather free pillow. This made the sleep quality below average for us. Seemed the check in staff just wanted to complete the transaction and not help us in any other way. Limited amenities in bathroom.

Positive: Beautiful brand new apartment. Great communication and accommodating. Overall exceptional.

Negative: Didn’t like that we had to meet someone at a specific time. We’re on vacation and flowing with our travel from place to place. We were late and felt bad. A digital code lockbox would’ve been perfect. No other complaints. There’s no parking as advertised but didn’t know couldn’t park on right side to unload bags and bring up stairs. 30 minutes later our rental got a boot on car and costs $150 and was lucky to find the person to pay and release. The parking garage across the street is $90/day. The parking fiasco isn’t the apartments fault just added to the chaos. Overall part of the journey of travel especially with a car in Europe

Summary: Excellent downtown location. If want new, secure, and in the mix this is a good one
