- Terrace >60m2, lounge area with breathtaking view on the "Criou" and therapeutic hot tube 6 seats (hydro & air jets, waterfall...)
For your entertainment, we have arranged in the Chalet a large selection of DVDs & BlueRays to watch on a large flat screen, books, iPod station, CDs, games together with a PlayStation 3, Netfix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Canal+ and Wifi in the entire Chalet. For dinners, you will find Raclette & Fondue equipments. Half-board on demand.
To go skiing, the Chalet is +/- equidistant from the 3 lifts giving access to the Grand Massif (265 km):
- Vercland (1.4 km)
- Morillon (1.6 km)
- Grand Massif Express (Samoëns - 2.5 km)
You can either go by car either by skibus (stop "L'Etelley") which is located at 300m from the Chalet (for both, it takes <5 minutes to reach the lifts).
In summer, we have arranged an Outdoorchef gas barbecue and for the outdoor activities, you will find at your disposal: bikes (city & mountain bikes), table-tennis, badminton, basket, petanque...

Summary: Our group of family and friends had a wonderful weekend in the mountains. This house was perfect for our group, with comfy beds and a nice, big gathering area. The hot tub was a hit with the kids. Our hosts were so accommodating and kind. We’d love to come back someday.

Summary: A beautiful chalet with easy access to Morillon and Samoens. Well maintained and a well thought out chalet with great space for a number of families. The hot tub was a hit with our teenage daughters.

Summary: We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Family and friends totalling 11. The chalet was beautiful, very clean and perfectly laid out. No British TV but we relaxed and watched a few films via our laptop/amazon prime/netflix. The hot tub was a bonus and just perfect to chill at the end of the day. The twin bed on the upper landing worked well for our teen and felt more discrete that I expected. The twin downstairs didn't have a window but would be fine for smaller children. Quick drive to Samoans although the lift queue in the morning for HT was the longest I've ever experienced, sometime an hour before getting up to 1600, however parking a little later seemed fine for family members who had later lessons and there are other options such as Vercland and Morillion. Skiing over to Morillion and Les Corroz were I think our favourite, made Flaine a couple of times and took the 14k blue slope back to Sixt (being HT had its tricky/icy bits). Delightful restaurant at the bottom of Vercland (this red can be a little tricky for those who prefer a blue) and closest to the chalet if you're not storing skis back at the shop. We used Extreme Glisses ski hire in Samoans which was great for overnight storage. Perfect stay in a beautifully laid out and furnished chalet, we would love to return again sometime soon x

Summary: Chalet Marmotte was perfect for our party of 6 adults, 3 big kids and two younger children. It was hard to find accommodation where our whole party could sit together in the living room but at Chalet Marmotte we fit comfortably. Chalet Marmotte is modern and tastefully decorated with lovely Savoyard touches. Each of the 3 floors has its own bathroom and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved using the hot tub after a day of skiing. Our only complaint would maybe be that we could have used a few extra hot tub towels as we only had 6. Jean Pierre from Concierge de Grand Massif was extremely friendly and helpful as was Remi from Chalet shop ski rental (both recommended by the Chalet Marmotte owners. We can highly recommend both JP and Remi too). Anne-Marie and Olivier the chalet owners were also very prompt in replying to all our queries and with sending us information. We had a wonderful stay and can definitely recommend renting Chalet Marmotte.

Summary: We chose to book this property based on price, description and location. I assume this is the criteria that most people base their bookings on. In the past we have been disappointed one way or another. This was not the case with Chalet Marmotte. The booking process was very straight forward and there was also a choice to pay in your preferred currency. The damage deposit was refunded promptly and without question (even though we had a couple of minor "accidents" with some lively wine glasses. The arrival time was agreed with the Concierge and upon arrival we were welcomed and given a very comprehensive introduction to the chalet and it's equipment. The chalet was well presented and well maintained. We found that everything described in the advert was present and in good working order. Simple things like crockery and cuttlery were plentiful and it is detail like this that makes the full package for us. There was also a good bottle of champagne presented to us on arrival and a hamper of local produce delivered to us during the week, both great touches. The chalet itself is well laid out and the living space creates a great social atmosphere whether you are cooking in the kitchen or relaxing in front of the burner. In the ten years we have been snowboarding, we have to say that this was the best chalet we have stayed in.

Summary: Staying here allows you to sample the millionaire’s lifestyle! Every detail has been thought about allowing you to relax in wonderful surroundings. Our group of 8 lived liked kings for our week stay enjoying so much space. The ideal location, only 3 minute drive to either Morillon or Samoans, allows quick access to ski lifts and also for shopping, markets and ice-skating. Skiing is great with speedy access to a variety of slopes within the Grand Masif. Apres ski can be sort in the local villages or, as we preferred, at the chalet using the lovely hot tub, play station and lounge area (very nice pellet stove keeping us warm). Our holiday was truly fantastic thanks in the main to this lovely chalet and I very much hope that we will be back very very soon. A huge thanks to Anne-Marie and to Laurieanne (local concierge) for such a memorable experience.

Summary: Great chalet, beautiful and well equipped (from the kitchen accessories through the entertainment equipment, children's toys and more...) The space is well designed for big families and perfect for family vacation. Location is great with lots of activities near by and lovely view. The owner is very nice and always available for any issue. Highly recommended!!
