Our stunning 3 bedroom apartment is in the development of Lantana at Weston, St James, in the heart of the stunning West coast of Barbados. This is known as the Platinum Coast because of the lovely safe beaches, the finest hotels and the best restaurants in Barbados. The coastal town of Holetown is just over 2km South for shopping, bars and restaurants but there are many more places within easy distance. The famous Lonestar restaurant is halfway to Holetown and to the North 5 minutes walk takes you to Alleynes beach and the famous local beach bar the "John Moore Bar". Another few minutes walk takes you to the unspoilt beach of Thunder Bay. 10 minutes drive North takes you to Speightstown - a quaint local town but with a fine selection of beach bars. The central position offers visitors the opportunity to holiday in the heart of one of the most desirable and trusted coastlines in the world.

A luxury apartment within the fenced and gated secure development of Lantana which is on the coastal Highway 1 with sea views and frequent bus services. The development features two freeform pools, garden areas and ample parking. Our ground floor apartment has level access, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large private patio balcony with direct access to the pools.

The refundable security deposit ($250.00) & weekly cleaning fee ($200.00) are paid locally upon arrival to the housekeeper. Both are in Barbados Dollars (two Barbados $'s to one US)

Summary: The property is perfectly located near the pool which made for easy access. Andrea was our contact and she was terrific. She was always available by phone and she answered promptly. We had one problem with the washing machine but things like that happens. It had no bearing on our stay. The unit is large and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay.

Summary: The apartment was perfect for the six of us that stayed here for 7 days. The beds were really comfortable and linens were clean. There were ample towels available, even beach towels. Access to the back porch and pool from two rooms was very convenient. The pool was very clean! If you're stuck at home, there are tons of tv options and the wifi is very stable! Other people have commented on the outside noise from the traffic etc. But since I refused to use an alarm on my vacation, hearing the husyle and bustle was welcoming and didn't interrupt. If you need dead silence in the morning, you may not like that you can hear the sounds. People in the area are extremely nice! It is very easy to catch a bus to go anywhere as a bus stop is at the end of the street. Andrea was super accommodating and helpful at any time! She helped make the trip great! I would recommend this apartment for a family for sure.

Summary: We had a lovely stay. Kids loved the quick access to the pool and only a quick stroll to the beach. Felt like a home from home. Andrea came to meet us and was absolutely lovely. Allowed us a late check out which was much appreciated. We look forward to visiting again as a family.

Summary: Lantana appartment was as advertised . Communication with owner was excellent and the property was well maintained and equipped . Only downside was noise from the main road at certain times of the day but no problem overnight . Would stay again

Summary: The property is nice, fairly new with a nice pool. The condo had everything we needed: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a TV room with 2 couches. The lanai was nice and big with a walkout to the pool which was great for our 5 year old granddaughter. The condo is right beside the highway so the traffic noise was sometimes very loud both on the lanai and at the pool but we spent most days at the beach anyway.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the property. We found Gemma and the housekeeper Andrea to be very helpful with any queries we had. The location was good for getting about. A short walk to the beach and a couple of local bars/rum shops nearby. We used the local buses to get about which cost about £1.30 anywhere. Holetown was about 10mins on bus or about 1hr walk along beach, with more restaurants and a supermarket. Could be noisy as it is next to the road but didn’t bother us too much and wouldn’t put us off returning.

Summary: The location was perfect as easy to hop on and off the local buses to anywhere. The property was a bit tired and unfortunately next to the main road bit as we weren't spending much time there this didn't matter too much and in the master bedroom we could not hear it at night. Summary: We had a great time despite being in Barbados when the Pandemic hit! Gemma was a pleasure to communicate with from day one. Answered all of my questions and always very prompt. Brian was amazing and very helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay. Being on the main floor was so convenient with two young kids being close to the pool was nice and convenient. The condo had everything we needed and was in close proximity to supermarkets etc. The buses can get a bit loud during day but that was to be expected. We would love to visit Lantana again in the future. Thanks Gemma and Brian!!
