Enjoy life at a slower pace that connects the whole family with nature. Get your picturesque farm fix feeding chickens, horses, tiny cows and friendly pigs here at Havenfield Acres. Think of it as your own private petting zoo. Pitch in as much or as little as you'd like during chore times gathering eggs, brushing horses, giving cow scratches, and pig belly rubs. Depending on the time of year, there may be piglets, calves and baby chicks to play with too! Enjoy fresh eggs upon arrival if interested.
Amenities abound in this 3300 sq. ft. guest house on our private working farm. We live in a separate home on the property and are blessed to be without nearby neighbors, except for the families of deer and wild turkeys.
Relax by the secluded salt water pool (open April - Oct) or enjoy a glass of wine or your morning coffee on the deck watching both farm animals and wildlife share the scenery. Soak your cares away with a good book in the claw foot tub. Take the world's best nap on either the hammock under the trees or the swinging sofa in the living room, snuggle up by the fireplace to watch a movie downstairs in the family room, or roast s'mores under the stars relaxing around the fire pit. Plenty of space outside for a friendly game of corn hole, life size jenga, or badminton (upon request).
When you're ready to venture off the farm, our area doesn't disappoint. Visit and shop the largest Amish settlement in the South (an easy 35 min away), rent a canoe, kayak or tube down the Duck River (20 min away), fish the lakes in Williamsport (24 min away), pop next door to the lakes and take a wild ride across the scenic Tennessee countryside in a Polaris SXS or Slingshot with Fisher's Off Road Rentals, or take a wine tour of several of our local wineries.
Of course there's plenty to see, do and eat in historic Columbia (5 mi to downtown) and nearby Spring Hill too. A trip to downtown Nashville is a short 40 minutes away with popular Franklin (20 mi to downtown) in between, offering a multitude of dining and shopping experiences plus unique Civil War tours. Minutes to the interstate, access is a breeze to anywhere you want to explore.

Summary: This property was so perfect for our two families who were reuniting from CA and Atlanta. We have 4 girls, ages 8-11, who (along with at least one parent) spent every morning and evening helping with farm chores. They came away with a real understanding of how much work is involved with farming and the importance of sustainable farming. They loved feeding the animals, collecting eggs, milking the cow, giving treats to the horses and playing with the farm dog. We had fresh eggs and milk our entire stay. Chris and Carrie provided all of us with so much education and were so welcoming and patient. The working farm experience exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect, too. Our girls had "swim meets" for hours in the pool in between helping out at the farm. With two living areas, it was great for the kids to play in the lower level while the adults read and played games upstairs. We found some great restaurants in the cute nearby towns. It was an amazing vacation and we highly recommend this property to everyone!

Summary: Carrie and Chris and family, are great and the house pool and property are as advertised. We arrived at the property late and Carrie had fresh eggs butter pastries and the best pop tarts I have ever had for us to have for the next morning. She took our 4 grandchildren around the farm to see and get to know the animals. When we come back to Nashville we will definitely stay here, it was worth the drive to the farm, to stay and play and it was nice and peaceful. Summary: We were very happy with our stay at the farmhouse. Chris and Carrie were super responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of their farm. Carrie had fresh muffins and farm fresh eggs when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again

Summary: This is the first time my husband and I rented a farmhouse with animals and it was so much fun! We plan to have a mini farm after our retirement and Carrie shared her knowledge and experiences with us and kept us laughing through out the whole time! The farmhouse was also spotless!!

Summary: We loved our stay at the Farmhouse. The kids loved getting to visit the farm and pet the animals. The owners are fantastic and provide all the necessities, including coffee, farm fresh eggs, assorted shampoos and toiletries. We loved our pool getaway and spending time with our family. Kroger is a close distance and we even checked out downtown Columbia, which was very cute. The ice cream and Tap House were our favorites! We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this for your next vacation!

Summary: Carrie and Chris are the BEST hosts ever! They are very kind, helpful, and genuinely concerned for you to have an enjoyable stay! Their gracious hospitality and special surprise touches for our family was memorable. It is very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and paper goods. Very peaceful surroundings and we enjoyed watching bunnies hopping around the property! I would HIGHLY recommend this house as well as the hosts! Thank y’all so much for a wonderful visit for our son’s wedding in Nashville. We will be back!

Summary: This house and experience were amazing. We were a group of 9 with age range from 8- 72. The house is spacious and just adorable. Lots of attention to detail and everything you need to cook and settle in. It definitely feels like a farm house! There is a large bedroom downstairs along with a TV, couch and play area. Perfect for all the kids. The farm is on the property next store. Carrie the host was so accommodating and let everyone hunt for eggs and help feed and care for the many animals. We felt like we knew the all by the time we left! Her son Jonah was also so patient and they taught us so much. Just a magical week!
