Indulge yourself at this luxury 5-star resort condominium in River Run Village with true ski-in and ski-out access off of Dercum Mountain. Accessed by a private and heated driveway, Lone Eagle Condominiums are one of only two luxury-rated vacation rental complexes in River Run Village. Imagine yourself walking out the back door and instantly on the ski mountain. No more aching arms and lower back muscles. Guests appreciate this location no matter what season. During summer, enjoy not having to lug that mountain bike to the village. Ski or ride down to the Keystone gondola or across to the high-speed quad lift on Dercum Mountain. You can't get any closer to the slopes than Lone Eagle.
This one-bedroom, two-bath condo features an open living area with bright windows gazing out to the Dercum Mountain ski resort next to the summit express ski lift. The comfy sofa faces the gas fireplace and HDTV, ideal for relaxation with family and friends after the ski boots come off. The furnishings and décor combine classy touches of Keystone's ski history. Beside the living area, there is a sizable dining table for four while the kitchen features beautiful wooden cabinetry, and a bar area. A single door opens to a private deck with views across the forest.
The master suite features mountain views and elegant wooden furnishings. It comes equipped with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Also, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room that sleeps up to 2 adults or kids. This condo accommodates up to 4 guests with the current bedding configuration. For those wishing to cook, the kitchen comes standard with stainless steel appliances and most everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal.
Guests are welcome to use the property's heated pool, ski deck, hot tub, games rooms, and fitness center. Leave gear in the shared ski lockers and allow Lone Eagle's private elevator to whisk you up to your room. Summary: The location was great and general condo common areas/amenities were great. The unit needs attention and cleaners need to do better job making sure unit is thoroughly cleaned and stocked. Closet doors in master off tracks and not functioning well, window cranks in master broken/not engaged, master shower soap holder broken, some pots and pans with residual "stuff", some silverware/utensils not clean, only 2 pods for dishwasher so could not run last load of dishes, lighting is dark (get new LED's). The unit is tired, but could be great with just a little effort and attention.
