Positive: Apartment was in a great location perfect for visiting Paris. It was old style but spacious even for 5 people to stay. We found the antic style to be cool. Has kitchen facilities bathroom and shower worked well, no issues to report. Great value for size and location

Negative: Beds were a little small but they worked well for short stay

Positive: The location of the apartment was great. Loved the bakery right near by. It was nice to have space for 4 people. The kitchen was fine. We were glad that there were fans in the apartment. Running them at night was good as the floors were creaky and the water was noisy almost continuously. The fans made it easier to sleep.

Negative: We are from outside of France and our cell phones did not work until we changed a few settings. It would have been good to have the buzz in codes to reach the person waiting in the apartment for us. We were tired from the long flight and it was raining. Luckily we were able to stop someone who helped us by making the phone call.

Summary: Good place to stay for a family of 4. Loved visiting the city.

Positive: size of apartment, it was heated well and there was plenty of hot water and a lift.

Negative: The Kitchen facility and equipment were inadequate and rather grubby, not enough tea towels, no hand towel. Lighting was very poor with very many side lamps and a multitude of electric plug adaptors which looked hazardous, all the bulbs were very dim. No flat surfaces in the bathroom for wash bags etc. just a very small glass shelf above a towel rail Not enough large towels for 5 persons, just three largish ones and two quite small ones The house plan on booking.com showed two double beds and two sofa beds. In fact, there was only one proper double modern bed in the main bed room, and three other single, very short and narrow old type antique sofa beds which were much too small for even a medium size adult. This wrong information about the bed sizes caused a great deal of difficulty for our party of three adults and two tall teenagers. There were no solid doors to the bedrooms, just curtains which did not cover the openings properly. The net curtains to all the windows were very grubby. The lift to this 2nd floor apartment was not working on arrival, so taking our luggage up two floors was difficult, however, the lift was mended during our stay. There was no proper sofa to sit and relax on in the sitting room and there was no television. There were only four dining chairs for the meal table, other chairs were too low to use. The bedding and towels all looked grubby and were very wrinkled, there were hairs and bits on the sheets.

Summary: Enjoyable but the negative issues were disappointing.

Positive: The apartment is located on a small side street. A very good choice for those for whom safety is important, such as those traveling with small children. There are also several metro stops nearby, which are also safe and not crowded. It is very easy to move to different attractions. The gorgeous Luxembourg Gardens are within walking distance. Local brasserie a.k.a bakery, where you can buy fresh baguette and croissant is about 50 m away. Several grocery stores and Picard, are closer than 900 m. There are also several restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The apartment is like a museum, very comfortable, clean and cozy. More beautiful than in the pictures. The apartment was warm, but we wore a thin sweater while in the room. The bathroom has floor heating and the shower works as it should. Wifi worked fine if you wanted to read mail or news, surf social media, etc. If you want to watch movies or do work over Wi-Fi, you should find other options.

Negative: The walls and ceilings are thin as usual in Paris. Nabours asked to be very quiet, but the neighbors themselves were also very quiet. So it was not difficult to keep this wish. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, but since the stove is French, cooking in the oven can be quite a challenge. In the kitchen, there could be an instruction manual for the stove and dishcloths. You could constantly hear different water hissing, whether the water boiler was running or the neighbor was taking a shower or someone was going to the toilet, which took some getting used to. Apparently, this is also something that is very common in Paris. The street noise from the windows is minimal. The windows of two rooms face the inner terrace, and the windows of the third room face the street, where very few cars drive by.
