Stairs at the back of the property lead down to a gate that offers direct access to the Gabrielino trail. The NASA JPL is also a 5-minute walk away.
Inside, a stunning interior showcases gothic sconces and chandeliers, distressed pine beams, and contemporary decor. Find everything you need in the gourmet kitchen to prepare delicious home-cooked meals. High-end appliances include a Viking stove and a Sub-Zero fridge.
Two well-appointed bedrooms each offer a private bathroom. The primary suite presents direct access to the backyard, while the guest suite has a small patio. A den adds even more living space, providing a fantastic spot to work remotely.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in April 2024. The house and its amenities are terrific (very clean!) and our walks on the trail were fantastic. We loved coffee on the deck in the morning overlooking the hills. One of our favorite vacation stays!

Summary: We had a great time with our kids (4 and 6) at this house. The pool is great -- but FYI there is not much of a shallow end and diving board has been removed. The backyard is spacious and relaxing, and the home is stylish, comfortable, and very efficient with a fully-equipped kitchen. The proximity to the trail system is fantastic. The surrounding neighborhood isn't anything special, but it's just a short drive to some nice spots.

Summary: We loved this house. It is nicely appointed and very comfortable. My husband, adult son and two dogs stayed for several days and enjoyed it. It is a great location for hiking, with a trailhead for the Gabrielino Trail just steps away.

Summary: We loved staying at The Gabrielino Trail House. We were there for a weekend with our dog and had a fabulous time. The local host was extremely helpful, accommodating and gave us great restaurant recommendations which we loved. The house was very clean and we really loved that all cabinets and drawers in the kitchen were labeled making everything super easy to find.

Summary: We stayed at this house to be near Tom Sawyer camp, which is literally a stones throw from the property. The house is perfectly equipped, everything worked, the neighborhood is quiet, sitting on the deck, watching the sunset while your kid can swim, it’s pretty perfect. Absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking to stay somewhere in the area, it really is a gem.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Gabrielino Trail House was in remarkable condition and very well stocked with everything we needed for a great stay. Great kitchen, amble space, comfortable beds and an amazing outdoor space. The one suggestion I would make is to heat the beautiful pool by default even if you need to raise the rental rate to make it work. We so wanted to use the pool but the daily temperatures during our stay were unseasonably low and the water was too cold. Overall a great property. Would definitely book it again.

Summary: Such an incredible place. Super clean and well laid out. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy. Views and sunsets were fantastic and the trail was so great to have on your doorstep. Hosts were wonderful and helpful
