Positive: The view from the shared kitchen was spectacular. We had a comfortable room with a view to the mountainside and partial view to the fjord.

Positive: Location is outside of the village, about 3 km up! However the views were great and the owner is happy to shuttle up and down to the ferry or bus. The kitchen is well equipped and our room (Room 1) was large and airy.

Positive: Stunning view down into Geirangerfjord from front porch. The host, Ian, is a don't of information on the area and birds. Short walk to nearby hotel for dinner or breakfast, although the kitchen is handy too. Parking is good.

Negative: Wi-Fi in the basement apartment is weak. Walk to bathroom a bit inconvenient.

Positive: The accommodation was far bigger than I expected, bedroom, comfy chairs, good lighting and spacious shower room with ample towels. The breakfast arrangement with the local hotel worked very well for us, though others would prefer to do self catering which was well through through by the very helpful, knowledgeable hosts. Spectacular views from the garden.

Negative: There wasn't anything we disliked! Just had to get used to removing our shoes every time we came into the property!
