Positive: really enjoyed our stay at Grand Mayura!!! was a little bit worried before booking about bugs and the nature setting (had a scary experience once at a different place with a similar setting) but everything was AMAZING! the cottages are super clean, modern, with AC / fan and a huge comfy bed. the bathroom was also okay with some tiny bugs but it is protected well from the sleeping area. the beach is 3 mins away and so is the town center. the lovely staff helped us with everything (scootie rental, taxi...). would stay again! :)

Positive: 2 minutes from the beachfront, lovely location, great staff, an awesome exposed bathroom and lovely wooden structures all around. The place has only recently opened and costs are really competitive for what it offers.

Negative: Approach road to the resort is bad and not well marked. GMaps location is wrong and the contact number on Booking as of today (May 1st week 2025) is invalid - the resort is working on getting the number corrected. Then, power cuts happen a lot, especially at night. We stayed for 3 days and we saw more than 12 power cuts. Restaurant services are not present at the moment. I learned that they're in the process of setting it up by 2026.

Summary: Nice lovely place with a few quirks.

Positive: Calm and quiet place to stay. Closer to palolem beach and market area. Very clean and hygienic. Open air bathroom. The overall look and feel with wooden decor is amazing.

Negative: There's no staff.. just one lady who looks after reception and any other service requests. Ac cooling was not good. Even at 16 Ac temp we needed fan. It was not cooling the room. Frequent electricity cutoff but they have generators which brings back the electricity within few mins. No inhouse kitchen so incase you going with kids, you need to carry everything they need. Incase of emergency if they need anything at late night you can't even go out and grab things since market will be closed. Carry toiletries since it's not provided except two medimix soap.

Positive: Beautiful new resort right by the beach and away from too much noise! One of the cleanest places we stayed across the whole of India. The huts are really cool, the beds are super comfy and clean. Nice fresh clean towels both for the bathroom and beach. Everything you need for a nice chilled stay in Goa.

Negative: Nothing major but if you’re particularly scared of bugs the outdoor showers do get a few in but not really a problem.

Summary: Would definitely come straight back here if I ever returned to Goa.
