Positive: The view from this lodge is absolutely stunning. Even from the rooms you get a top view of the park and you can see the animals coming to drink from a water hole close to the hotel. Definitely worth the money. The food here was also really good. We only spent one night here which definitely wasn't enough. I would recommend at least a two night stay here to fully enjoy the view and see all the animals coming by the water hole. The rooms are also really nice and comfortable and well equipped and everything was really clean.

Positive: I booked in Lucca Lodge, but because of a function there, I was offered to stay at the nearby Mopane Lodge. Everything was simply exceptional, from the friendly smile at the main gate, to the warm welcome at the reception, the great bar and restaurant service and the excellent food. The staff is very kind and helps you with whatever comes up. The pool area with the view of the waterhole is amazing, we spotted a Waterbucks, a male Lion, a Hippo and lots of other animals during and after sunset. I will definitively come back!

Positive: The property states that it’s in Musina yet it’s about 80km away from Musina. This is misleading; also 10km of this distance is gravel. Apparently I was made aware of this on email meaning only after the booking. I think it should be stated upfront so guests are aware.

Negative: There was an old leather chair that needs to be removed or recovered it’s really distasteful. They also need to place chairs outside the rooms as one cannot even watch the animals without sitting: we had to do this standing

Summary: Property isn’t in Musina and thus shouldn’t advertise itself as such
