Just minutes away from Jackson's Historic Town Square sits Horsethief Canyon Lodge, a showpiece of luxury vacation rentals in Jackson Hole. This four-bedroom home with six full baths and two half baths sits perched on a hillside overlooking Jackson Hole's Polo Ranches and Wyoming’s iconic mountain ranges.
A covered porch along the front of the house invites visitors to relax in comfortable Adirondack chairs. Wildlife is seen wandering across the home's six private acres every season of the year. Inside, the foyer opens high overhead to a two-story great room with a loft. Two soft sofas and two chairs with ottomans front a large stone hearth with a wood-burning fireplace. A four-paneled, folding door opens the room to the large deck outside, creating a seamless transition between indoors and out. An outdoor dining table, bench, and rocking chairs are the perfect venue for dinner or a glass of wine on Jackson's long summer days. Back inside, a large kitchen with a gas range, top-of-the-line appliances, and every tool a cook could need, is the dream of any chef.
The master bedroom, complete with a king-size bed, en suite bath, and walk-in closet, shares the home's main level. A stone hearth with a gas fireplace anchor one end of the bedroom. The stately master bathroom features a dual vanity, jetted tub, and steam shower.
A spiral staircase, anchored by a huge stone pillar takes you upstairs where a desk and chair make for the perfect reading nook. Summary: This high end home was beautiful and perfect for our group of 3 couples. The outdoor living aspect was very comfortable and made for a relaxing place to hang out and enjoy the views. The only two things that made it less than a perfect experience was that the internet was really slow so it was difficult to work if you are someone who needs to mix work with pleasure and that the 4:00p.m check in time and 10:00 a.m. checkout time made us feel rushed and as though we lost a day and considering the very high nightly cost of the home, didn't seem like a great value. Other than that, I recommend the property for those looking to kick back and try to get their money's worth from the beautiful home.

The hot tub was lovely and clean, the kitchen well equipped, and the furnishings clean and comfortable. Overall we had an excellent stay and would recommend this property to friends and family.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a good stay. When we arrived, there were not hand soaps in any of the bathrooms or kitchen, so we couldn't wash our hands, which was not what we expected, especially during a pandemic. The rental company brought some soaps early the next morning. The home is very nice quality. The master bedroom is directly off of the great room and has almost no window coverings, so it's very bright early in the mornings. There is also no closet for renter's use in the master bedroom, which was very weird. There is only one half of a wardrobe in the middle of the room for your use. Awkward for a couple who has different sleeping schedules. Home theater was great for us and very comfortable, we watched two movies during our stay. The outdoor fireplace was our nightly gathering place. The home is in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a lot of street noise, being right above a highway, however the waterfall in the pond does a good job of masking the noise. Very close to town. Wonderful sunset views. The A/C is OKAY, but not great (we stayed in the summer).
