Summary: I love this hotel, it takes you back to Colonial Piura with its Spanish looks, it’s in the best part of Piura Center next to the plaza and the cathedral. There are always safe taxi in front and it’s truly a beautiful hotel.

Summary: During my stay an incident occurred that was at no fault of the hotel, but they were incredible in handling. Jose went above and beyond to make sure my stay was going well and checked in with me multiple times after the incident. I felt very cared for and was truly touched at the effort from the staff to ensure I was okay. Because I don’t speak Spanish it can be hard for me to communicate when visiting Latin America, but Jose was always available to translate for me to other staff. This was my second stay at Los Portales and I will definitely be back!
