Positive: Very clean and lots of extras, although a hair dryer would have been nice.

Negative: The mattress in the small double bedroom was not very comfortable. I switched to a single bed and this was fine

Positive: The quality of the furniture and it's just such a beautiful house. It just felt like you were at home. When I phoned the host, she was really friendly and helpful. Kilkenny itself is great and we had a fantastic time.

Negative: Unfortunately we had to clean the fridge. We didn't expect that based on the last reviews. And in 2 of 3 bathrooms there was no hot water. We helped ourselves with one bathroom and didn't complain.

Summary: great house with a feel-good factor. Great Stay near town.

Positive: Convenient location for our visit. Spotlessly clean which was really appreciated.

Negative: Only 6 chairs at the table for 8 guests - a bit of an issue at breakfast! Poor communication prior to check-in: I received multiple e-mails telling me the same very detailed information including the key-box code but no responce to my two e-mailed enquiries as to the location of the key-box. (it was easy to find in fairness but...). We found the inflexible late check-in and early check-out: 5.30pm / 10.00am a little restrictive and 'old fashioned'.

Summary: Quite good - happy to recommend but get an extra couple of chairs!

Positive: This is a beautiful home. It is perfect for a holiday in Kilkenny as it is very central. It was clean, comfortable with all amenities. My son was delighted to find the bicycle and be able to explore the area this way. Would definitely stay in this house again.

Negative: I can think of nothing . This is really a beautiful house and is so clean with all possible amenities. Good value and a great find.

Positive: The house was large and spacious with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus a large kitchen with dining table for our game playing.

Negative: More information on how to engage and disengage the front door lock would have been helpful. And the handle on the downstairs toilet was broken. We were able to use it, but had to fill it manually with water each time.

Summary: Nice place, spacious and the owner was VERY accommodating when we thought we had lost the house key.
