Summary: The house was clean and comfortable. One bedroom needed blinds or heavy curtains to keep out light. More hand towels would have been nice for the bathrooms. The kitchen was fairly well equipped but could use some measuring cups and spoons.

Summary: The house was nice, close to the lake and close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. It was well equipped with dishes, good kitchen, linens. Beds were comfortable. The yard, especially the front yard, needed major maintenance. I am a gardener, and the invasive weeds (like chickweed) are going to be very hard to eradicate if not dealt with soon. One smart TV, but it would not pick up local channels and when we asked owner about that, we got no response. Owner approved our request to bring a dog over 50 pounds and we were careful to protect her property by covering bed and sofa with sheets we brought from home. It would be helpful if owner would leave some information for renters, such as where to find key to access lakefront. We found it, but only by exploring. Also, some information on how to use the TV, coffee pot, etc., would be helpful. Overall, a decent place with the potential to be a really nice vacation rental.

Summary: Although it looks like it's "lakeside" on the listing, the "lakefront" is not really easily accessible. Other than the fireplace not having instructions and not functioning, we enjoyed the property and WOULD rent it again.
