This vacation home in Frahan has 6 bedrooms and can accommodate a large party. This accommodation is the ideal place for a relaxing retreat with the family. It is located on one of the most beautiful bends of the Semois River, on the Les Crêtes peninsula. Under the bright sunshine, you can enjoy a quiet drink on the terrace, while the children have fun on the playground.
The Semois Valley has it all, from riverbeds to spectacular views. In the area you can go hiking and biking, but there are also water sports to be done. At 6 km from the house there is a tobacco museum and a bit further away the slate quarry in Alle.
After an intensive day in the summer season you can light up the barbecue in the garden. On the cold autumn days it is also nice to play a board game inside with the company.
For reasons of tranquility, this house is not rented to young people and it is prohibited to organize parties or celebrations.
Also, cats are not allowed in this gîte.

Summary: Erg aangename en rustige omgeving, de vrouw des huizes spreekt ook wel wat Nederlands, wat zeker voor ons een erg groot pluspunt is.

Summary: Omgeving is mooi. Vriendelijk ontvangst door eigenaresse. Het huis heeft echter behoorlijke minpunten. Verouderd, slaapkamers zijn muf. Vooral in de keuken (bijvoorbeeld op de afzuigkap) is het niet schoon. Oven in het benedenhuis stinkt als je hem gebruikt. Het is erg gehorig. Bij fluisteren in de woonkamer, hoor je dat in de slaapkamer. Als de kinderen in bed lagen, gingen we met de volwassenen in het onderste huis zitten. Twee andere slaapkamers zijn erg gehorig tov elkaar en buren (die aan het huis vastzitten). Voor grote groepen moet je rekening houden met twee aparte ruimtes/woningen die niet verbonden zijn. Buitenom van de ene naar de andere woning. Erg onhandig, zeker bij nat weer. De foto’s op internet geven correct weer wat de indeling van het huis is. De beschrijving komt niet overeen. Keuken is niet geschikt voor 14 personen (kookplaat met 4 pitten en grote pannen past niet). Wel twee koelkasten. Leuk dat er een voetbaltafel staat. Er is redelijke ruimte voor 14 personen.

Summary: Zeer leuke woning, met ruime kamers, welke deel uitmaakt van een boerderij. De lokale lekkernij op de keukentafel werd smakelijk ontvangen. Alles was zeer proper en ik heb meermaals gehoord dat de douches zeer goed waren.

Summary: Vriendelijke ontvangst. Nette ruimtes. Grote living (wij waren met 15 en we liepen elkaar niet in de weg) Geriefelijke keuken. De bedden waren wat hard maar we hebben goed geslapen. Het gebouw was wel erg gehorig. Heel mooie omgeving met mooie goed aangegeven wandelroutes.
