Positive: The house is cute, clean and beautifully decorated. We were happy to find a home that allows you to bring a pet.

Negative: I do not recommend booking a non-refundable property. Tropical Storm Debby formed the day after I booked. Vacasa did not let me change my dates until the day before flooding was going to be in the area. I was charged $411 to change my dates. Dealing with Vacasa through Booking.com was stressful and confusing. The lock code on the door stopped working in the middle of our stay. The photos of the property were taken two years ago, before the outdoor table rusted and mildew stains formed on the seat cushions. The refrigerator and freezer did not work and leaked water onto the kitchen floor. There were ants in the kitchen, a wasp in the shower, and two roaches in the house. Moisture issues are causing the home to smell like a damp basement. The mattresses are firm, so bring a foam mattress topper if you prefer a softer mattress. Bring extra toilet paper, you only get one roll!

Summary: I do not recommend booking a non-refundable property.
