Lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, top floor condo in downtown Ladysmith. You will be right in the heart of the action with cafes, restaurants, shopping and the Old Town Bakery within a few blocks of the unit. Transfer Beach Park and the ocean is a short walk away. As my unit is top floor, it is very quiet and relaxing. If you leave the windows open you will hear some traffic noise but other than that is very quiet. This is not a party place. The best parts about my place are the location, the views, and the atmosphere.

Summary: This clean, spacious, comfortable unit contained all I needed for a multi day stay. The host was both professional and friendly. The transit bus stop to Nanaimo or Duncan is about a 15 minute walk away and offered a handy alternative. The unit’s location between Trans Canada Highway 1 and the town’s 1st Avenue provided quick access to nearby shops and eateries, and to the highway. I enjoyed my stay in friendly downtown Ladysmith.

Summary: We had a most enjoyable time in Ladysmith. Lovely condo downtown, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very interesting city history. Beautiful harbors and wharfs. This property had a wonderful balcony to sit and relax. The host and property was wonderful.

Summary: Communication with the property manager was excellent, she is quick to respond. Overall our stay was nice. Great location to experience Ladysmith or walk down to the beach. Great to get in and out of town. This condo is cute but missing lots of items other properties we have stayed in: oven mitts, strainer for pasta, t.v. our visit was in fall but I can imagine summers would be very hot in the space and once the windows are open you do have the noise of the main highway.

Summary: Stayed 6 nights, had a great time. The coffee shop on the ground floor is excellent, good food and good coffee! Shopping is just a few steps away, and lots of food options too. What a nice town and a perfect place to see it from.

Summary: This is a wonderful second floor historic apartment just off main street Ladysmith. The apartment had all the amenities of a comfortable home. We didn't miss a TV since we sat out on the large balcony facing an English pub. The view of the water at the kitchen table was a bonus. Ally was a gracious host and quick to respond to emails. A 5 Star vrbo!
