Summary: If you are looking to get any sort of rest, this is not the place for you. The neighbors below are loud well into the middle of the night. We did not hear from our host at any time during our stay. Bed is a full, not a queen and is not comfortable at all. The building is dirty and smells poorly. The apartment smelled like whatever was being cooked (or smoked) down below. It was advertised that there was a washer and dryer. Never saw one and nothing written anywhere about one. Would not stay here again, and would not recommend.

Summary: Upon arriving late at night there were no lights in the buildings entrance or in the entire stairwell which made it very dangerous, creepy & hauling the luggage up the steps in the pitch dark very difficult holding my phone flashlight. There is no elevator. All a building maintenance issue, not a unit problem. The lights never came on for 3 nights. The street parking was easy enough so I never tried the rear lot where it looked too crowded with cars. This is an old building so there is absolutely no sound barrier between units & you can hear every conversation, phone call, TV, & footstep around you so I tried to tiptoe everywhere on creeky wood floors but nonetheless it's unavoidable to not make & to not hear noise. A tenant left every morning before 7am, assumably for work, stomping down 3 flights of steps & slamming the building front door with no effort to be discreet which is just rude for all the neighbors. Again, all building downfalls, not the unit itself. This unit is nice & large with lots of interior space (no deck or patio) & was very clean. Some bathroom toiletries, hair dryer & clothes iron were accessible with a few waters & coffee in the fridge but no "big extra" effort for amenities or treats as an offered welcome. The unit looks just like the photos.

Summary: The pictures looked great and the location, for the family we were visiting, couldn't have been better. When we got there and walked in the stairwell and the unit itself reaked of cigarettes, like really really bad. I think that before they fixed up the unit someone must have been a heavy indoor smoker. I think other tenants in the building also smoked inside. Speaking of the neighbors the family below us, argued loudly, fairly regularly during our stay at 6am. The unit itself was really cute, minus the smell. The master bedroom mattress definitely needs to be replaced. The mattress caves in, in the middle. It was extremely uncomfortable. Also the light in the stairwell is out so if you get back after dark you have to use your phone light to see to get in and up 2 flights of stairs. There was also some random stuff in the drawers of one of the night stands. Like I said the apartment itself was really cute and they had cold waters and coffe in the fridge, which was really nice. The bath towels were wonderfully fluffy. Location was great and it was nice to be able to walk to Ted Drews. It had some good things, but ultimately I don't think we will be staying there again or recommending it to anyone else.

Summary: The location and cleanliness of the apartment were great and it was well provisioned. But there were no lights in the stairwells, which meant we needed to use our cell phone flashlights or climb two flights of stairs in total darkness. The link to contact the property manager didn't work and there's no information in the apartment about how to reach him/her. Loved the large-screen televisions in each room but needed information on how to get local channels, if they were available. With just a couple simple improvements, this would be a super rental.
