Positive: A beautiful house with spectacular views out over the lake and mountains. The weather was lovely so we spent the evening sitting outside enjoying the sunset with a few drinks. The house is very spacious with everything you need for a lovely stay. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. A fantastic house, ideal for a family get together in a truly magical place.

Negative: The hot water takes time to come and runs out quickly and for a large group the showers used up all the hot water but this was manageable

Positive: The cottage was decorated for Christmas which made the stay exceptionally special. The cottage was located looking over the Lough and it had absolutely stunning views. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

Positive: With a stunning location overlooking Glen Lough with Muckish and Errigal in the distance, this spacious property and grounds have a view for all seasons. A perfect rural location for those who wish to unplug and reset, yet minutes from amenities, beaches and entertainment. Info from host was immediate and comprehensive upon booking. The house itself was toasty warm, the kitchen well equipped and the living areas/furniture were quality and comfy. Our dog too loved walking on the quiet back roads and has made us promise to return.

Positive: Everything. Lough View cottage is clean, comfortable, very well appointed, and is in such an amazing location. John was a great host, provided good communication before our stay and was on hand throughout with tips on where to visit locally etc. the property is remove, quiet, but about 30 mins to walk to the Olde Glen Bar, one of the best pubs in Ireland
