Positive: Hotel is lovely, in a really nice location. Front door welcome staff were excellent. Room was clean & spacious with nice bathroom facilities. Breakfast staff were very nice.

Negative: Check in was chaotic. Only 2 staff members checking in very large groups of people. Took us 30 mins to get served for check in. Multiple rooms were not ready for check in time and guests were told to sit in bar... The Spa is not accessible to guests until 5pm. This was very disappointing. We weren't told this at check in. Breakfast was not ready at the start time. No food in the buffet. Had to wait a long time before being able to have the hot food.

Summary: Good, but not a 5 star experience

Positive: Everything was amazing from start to finish. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was beautiful. Our room was so warm we had to keep the windows open which would be my only slight concern but all in all we had a great stay.

Negative: Bedroom was too warm which probably wasn't a bad thing ...just not to my liking.

Positive: Lough Eske Castle Hotel is great. Its so accessible l, just outside Donegal Town. Room facilities leave nothing to chance; tea, coffee, biscuits etc, great shower, great lighting, iron + ironing board. ALL Staff work so hard to accommodate and to please its guests. Bar food really good, service excellent.

Negative: Absolutely nothing not to like about this hotel.

Positive: The homeliness of all. Upgraded to the Donegal suite which was gorgeous. Staff really friendly
