Positive: This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms are modern, stylish, and very well equipped. The property itself is beautiful, in an excellent location, with a stunning beach. The staff was amazing — extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay.

Negative: One thing to keep in mind is that there can be some noise at night from nearby nightlife venues.

Summary: Excellent stay and we truly enjoyed every moment.

Negative: Adjacent club is definitely notable… I didn’t mind the presence at all, but you will definitely know it’s there. The beats are constant, but that is all. Not an issue with people or crowds, just the music.

Positive: The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the beach, on a strip of low level smaller hotels along a road with plenty of restaurants, bars and boutique shops. In the main, it is pretty quiet, definitely not like Cancun (which was perfect for us). The hotel is next to some beach clubs but during our stay we did not notice them and they did not stay open that late during the time we were there (you can go to them if you like). We had a room with a sea view and left our doors open on the balcony one evening to hear the sea and fell asleep to the sound of the waves, it was magical. Breakfast was great, omelette, toast, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. The staff were so great, they wanted to help at opportunity, we couldn’t have asked for more. There is off street parking available too, if you have a hire car.

Negative: It was hard to find anything wrong with this place, if it came down to it, the lack of a lift, if you have a heavy suitcase, however, the staff would help you with your case and it is only 3 floors. We want to go back to Los Arrecifes, so will be looking to book again.

Summary: Lovely boutique hotel, with friendly helpful staff. Fantastic location overlooking the sea.

Positive: The position was great, near the center of Tulum and perfect for excursions to Sian Ka’an. The hotel is literally on the beach, despite there was a huge problem with sargazo (which is a common problem of the season), we really enjoyed the stay because of the environment of the hotel and its personnel. We really appreciated the receptionist and the guy serving at the bar. Amazing breakfast.
