Positive: Nicely situated within 200 mtrs from train and bus station. Train to Cablecar at Ebenalp, train to cablecar Kronberg and bus to cablecar Hohenkasten nearby. Free card voor 3 cablecars and train and musea in Appenzell etc upon 3 day stay. Good breakfast. Great coffee. Very friendly staff. Nicely priced

Negative: Unfortunately no tv set. But hey, gives you ample time to read that book you planned for weeks .. Not much to do in small village

Positive: The surrounding location was very nice. You can even see the train passing by from the window. Nearest train station was in walking distance. The staff was really nice and well mannered. The breakfast was good specially the tea.

Positive: Staff was lovely and allowed us to have a late checkout.

Negative: They overcharged us at the end. We were meant to pay 340 but they charged us 350. Unsure if this was intentional or not.
