Negative: By time I arrived restaurant closed and did not want to pay the exorbitant room service charges so mentioned that I would order food delivery to be told not allowed! Ended up not eating at all. Disappointing.

Negative: In spite of advertising family rooms, the hotel isn't set up for children. 1) Kids breakfast came with pepper on it 2) kids not allowed outside ( because it's a golf course and dangerous apparently 😜) or allowed inside to watch TV ( We were told we could not change to a kids' programme ( it was just us up ) as it was a sports bar) If they made a token gesture and at least put an outside play area, it would make a huge difference to my rating It was not a fantastic greeting when we arrived. We were told that if we had rang the bell, on arrival, nobody would come. Left for an uncomfortable laugh, as we did not get the impression she was joking. The younger lady was helpful and warmed my daughter's milk

Positive: Fabulous location in the heart of Kent. Great golf course and spa. Excellent choice of non alcoholic drinks (beer, wine and spirits), great food. Huge rooms with multiple beds and a balcony.

Negative: Bed very uncomfortable (mattress too thin so very hard and very thin duvet) so didn’t sleep well.

Summary: If a good nights sleep is not your priority then great venue.

Positive: This is a lovely Venue. We’ve been here before.

Negative: It’s a real shame that there’s houses built where the old pitch and put used to be Also the liver and bacon should have been on a plate not in a bowl and cooked a little better. The bacon was rubbery and the liver was hidden, presentation wasn’t great. It’s a shame there wasn’t more people there to celebrate Valentines night.
