Positive: Location of the house is absolutely fantastic and central to lots of major attractions. The village itself is absolutely beautiful. Cleanliness of the property was outstandingly good and was an extremely well equipped property. The dishwasher, washing machine and freezer were all very welcome. Close by are attractions like, the Chateau Les Milandes, The Gardens at Chateau Marqueysaac, La Roque Gageac which are all a must visit. Not to mention the River itself which is stunning with many activities such as kayaking etc.

Negative: Lack of hanging/wardrobe space in the downstairs bedroom. Maybe a curtain for privacy so you don't have to use the shutters every time. Empty garden plant pots and long grass. Would have given this property a 10/10 if it weren't for these tiny criticisms.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful! Would definitely return!

Positive: Lovely location in a beautiful village. The house was big, clean and comfortable. There were toys for the kids and the hosts left us a small gift which was a lovely gesture.

Negative: I thought the owners would appreciate this feedback. We read the information booklet when we arrived and saw there was a list of every item in the house. An inventory of every knife, fork, vase, plate, game, towel.. etc - every single thing. Unfortunately the list made us feel very untrusted and we were paranoid about breaking something. Not seen anything like it before. My husband broke an old toilet roll holder that we replaced immediately, but the list made it hard to relax. But the house was lovely and the local park was fantastic.
