Positive: Lovely location… view of the ocean and 3 minute walk to the sand! Haceta is a wonderful beach where I was able to walk for miles. I explored during the day while my husband worked from the upstairs loft. We enjoyed Florence downtown restaurants and had a great time renting ATVs for riding in the sand dunes! Also, visited the lighthouse, Hobbit Beach, and went up to Yachats for dinner one night.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at the Lofty Pelican. The front porch that overlooks the coast was our favorite part. It was plenty of space for myself, my partner, and our two pups. The yard was also fenced in. And the beach was only a short walk away.

Negative: We had zero complaints! It was a great stay.

Summary: We listened to the ocean waves every night, took short walks to Heceta Beach, and felt at home!

Positive: Great view from upper floor, nice amenities especially for kids/families (keyboard, guitar, game table with games/puzzles), nice to have use of garage, beach toys/chairs available in garage, 2 min to beach, close to groceries, very clean, nicely updated full bathroom (half bath in garage), beds comfy. One private bedroom, other beds in loft.

Negative: A couple power lines in view, view not as good from deck/main floor, side dining windows can't currently be opened--we'd have liked to hear the ocean waves from inside!

Summary: Nice quiet respite on Oregon Coast close to beach, great for families.
