Positive: There is a fantastic view of the Jean Talon market from the balcony. The 1 bedroom is spacious and had air conditioning, which was great during the heat wave.

Negative: The unit was not cleaned as thoroughly as I expected. There were no available trash bags or cleaning products, so I bought some things to make my stay more comfortable.

Summary: The location is terrific as it is near metro stations, bus stops and the Jean Talon market.

Positive: Great location next to the Marché Jean Talon, spacious apartment with comfortable large beds, very limited street noise especially at night, effective AC once you get it working, very effective for the main space and one bedroom, with fans available to help freshen the second bedroom.

Negative: Air conditioning works, but instructions are unclear - there are 2 old units who don't work at all, and you have to figure out that the remote works on the 3rd unit, away from where the remote is stored. Some maintenance issues should be fixed: shower head holder broken, door to the balcony not closing properly. The apartment would benefit from offering a bit more toiletries and cooking basics.

Positive: The location is fantastic. It's close to metro stations, bus stops and you can see the marché Jean Talon from the balcony. Both apartments are spacious, and there is a large balcony. It was easy to communicate with the staff through the booking app . They were accommodating and responsive. I was not feeling well during my trip, and they allowed me to check-in early. They also sent out a maintenance man, who was extremely kind and helpful.

Negative: We visited Montreal during a period of high temperatures, and the air conditioning in the upstairs apartment was not working efficiently. This was a challenge for my parents who are in their seventies. We were given extra fans a few days later. Additionally, the apartments were not cleaned thoroughly. This may have partially been because I checked-in early, but it seems that the cleaning staff are not following up on their job as we found several things broken in both apartments, including the lock to the door of the balcony, the blinds near the bed in unit 152 (lights from a nearby store front shown in at night), the shower head in unit 154, the ceiling leaked during a thunderstorm, the dryer vent was not properly attached to the wall and the sofa bed in unit 152 was broken and stained. We gave the list to the maintenance man when he came to check the air conditioning in unit 154. He informed us that the cleaning staff is supposed to report issues. Otherwise, the owners are unaware. He was helpful and fixed the issues that he could. It's a real shame because the space is beautiful.

Positive: The location for stores. Bedrooms had King beds and lots of room. The kitchen and living area was comfortable and roomy. Two huge balconies.

Negative: The one overhead air con did not work to cool very much and the apt was hot. The window cranks need fixing to open the window in one bedroom. Hot water in the shower then cold then boiling hot - and could not stand under the shower to shower as it was broken so we had to hand hold the shower head with one hand at all time or let it hang into the bathtub. . One towel for two people each for 3 days is not enough. One roll of toilet paper for two people for three nights - not enough.

Summary: We come to Montreal frequently and would stay again if the issues were resolved.

Positive: We loved the location. The bedrooms we big enough and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen was mostly well equipped

Negative: No information at all in the apartment. No dish towels to dry the dishes. No one to contact when we had a question. Big tv with no instructions. Parking was issue. It was difficult to find overnight parking. A booklet in the apartment could have given advice.

Summary: Enjoyed the location and the walk ability of the area.

Positive: Location is great, space is great for two couples, a family of 4 or 5. Great balcony off the back! Huge. Would be amazing to have access to a BBQ.

Negative: No drying rack for dishes (maybe I missed it somewhere?) temp control in 1 bed was bonkers, the hold was on and it got up to 52... Dust bunnies, and prior guests hair were found in a lot of places. My kid found a lighter in the sofa. Street facing balcony doesn't feel stable, railing moves and floors moves when walking so we didn't stay too long on there. Stairs up are awkward, narrow and if you have a suitcase, would be challenging for some to walk up.
