Positive: The view from the dome is lovely, although it rained constantly the whole time for us. We didn't see the northern lights due to bad weather, which was the main reason for staying there. The bed and down duvets were to die for - absolutely gorgeous! Having a fireplace with plenty of dry wood was a real treat and added to the cozy atmosphere. Take all your food because there are no shops/restaurants nearby.
Negative: Be aware that this is - and is advertised as - glamping. The toilet and cooking facility is a 50m walk (for us, in the rain) from the dome. There is no WiFi or TV, which would have been nice to have.
Summary: Expect camping facilities with a gorgeous bedroom.

Positive: Location couldn’t be better! It is private and peaceful - a very special place overlooking a fjord. Hosts, Marianne and Freddie, are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast included fresh eggs from their own chickens. We enjoyed visits from their beautiful, friendly and LARGE cat. On a clear night it’s a perfect setting, away from city lights, to see northern lights - cuddled up in the cozy dome or in blankets on the deck.
Negative: Liked everything about it. Some may not like going outside, walking up steps to get to the washroom, but we considered it part of the glamping experience.
Summary: This was the accommodation highlight of our trip to Lofoten!

Positive: Everything! Beautiful setting, cozy dome and site had everything you could want! The deck area overlooks the fjord and is so quiet and peaceful. The bathroom is set a few steps away but that is all part of the place…the shower was great! Plenty of hot water from the spring…. The kitchen was well equipped and there was also a microwave in the dome along with a fridge. Excellent quality breakfast! We left our suitcases in the car and just took what we needed into the dome which worked well….we didn’t want to spoil the ambiance with our clutter! Very friendly hosts, lovely to chat to. It does make sense to take food with you….once there you won’t want to leave to shop…… The owners plan more for the site- can’t wait to see how it develops….
Negative: We had such a relaxing time there was nothing we didn’t like!
Summary: Great place to relax and chill in a unique setting

Positive: The dome sits on its own private deck high up above the fjord and commands fantastic views.
Negative: If you need the toilet in the night you have to go up the steps and across the way. But once there it is warm n snug. A kettle would be good for English folks. Buy food for your stay before you arrive there are no supermarkets /shops less than 23km away.
Summary: First time Glampers and a very unique experience

Positive: This was such a unique experience! We arrived just before check-in time and Freddie met us to show us the dome and things we should know about the bathroom, kitchen, and the fireplace. There was a storm moving in and by 8p the wind was fierce and we lost power until about 2am. We woke up to about 2" of snow. Thank goodness for the fireplace! There were 2 totes outside with extra wood and we definitely needed it. Marianne was excellent at communicating with us about what was going on and allowed us a late checkout the next day. Despite the power being out, the fireplace kept us warm. But we did need to get up every hour or so to add wood. The bed is very comfortable and very warm (and I'm a Floridian who gets cold easily). The bathroom facility is about a 20 sec walk. It's close enough during the day but seems miles away in the middle of a snow storm in the middle of the night! My husband said the shower was good. The lighting is very dim inside but good enough unless you're planning to do hair and makeup. There isn't any counter space for that anyway. We stopped at the grocery store on our way and used the microwave (we just picked up microwaveable pasta meals) in the dome to cook dinner. We didn't not use the kitchen facilities by the bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and we had the leftovers for lunch. Recommendations for the hosts - it would be nice if there was a bigger garbage can in the dome. We had brought dinner and snacks and didn't have enough room for our trash. I left it in the bin for the dirty dishes. It would also be nice if there was a mirror available in the dome. I travel with a small one and just used that to get ready in the morning. Recommendations for guests - men, bring a bottle to pee in if you don't want to stumble your way to the bathroom in bad weather. Women, don't drink too much wine before bed or you'll be making the trek, too!
Negative: Nothing! Even the Spring snow storm and power outage made for a magical stay!
Summary: Don't miss this unique stay!
