Summary: Lovely, off the beaten path traditional fishing cottages in a remote area of Lofoten. Sadly, after having booked almost a year ahead of time, one of our (5) cottages was located quite far away from the others which was annoying. Staff tried to convince us that the far away cabin "was the best cabin" (maybe to make up for the distance?) but in actuality, it was the worst of all the 5 cabins.

Summary: Unbeatable location and view. We had two bedrooms for three adults, the living room area was just beautiful facing the water.

Summary: This is a very special place. The "village" is actually the cottages and associated restaurants etc. Nusfjord, the fjord, is tiny, isolated and intimate with huge rock walls. The property has done an excellent job in preserving the feel of the original fishing village. Lovely, well trained staff.
