Positive: The lodge was welcoming, homely and warm. Our hosts were exceptional and so helpful with all our questions. They went above and beyond to assist us everyday. We absolutely will be back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Negative: I loved everything about our stay!

Positive: Very clean, modern but yet keeps that homey lodge feel. Great common areas and easy to access dry room, toilets, showers etc.

Negative: Not much heating and the heater in the room can only be turned on for 8 hours at a time so can get quite cold at night.

Negative: The men’s toilet didn’t have a heater. A thicker mattress and pillow would have made our stay more comfortable.

Positive: Loved that the slopes were literally across the street and we could snowboard straight down to the ski lifts. The amenities were clean, and the lodge was super cosy. The host cooked us amazing breakfasts and helped us out when we needed to get in touch with the ski schools.

Negative: The futon mattresses needed getting used to especially after 4 aching days of snowboarding.

Summary: A great co-living environment with amazing staff and amenities. Will be back.

Positive: Super close to the gondola. Basically ski-in ski-out. The owners are really nice and hospitable. They have discounted lift prices and can easily grab rental gear for you. Breakfast was delicious, since food was homemade! The lodge aesthetically is beautiful. They have a room to dry and store all your snow equipment. I’m not sure there’s anything else I can say! This place needs to be gatekept. Hope to be back!

Positive: We are 2 adults and a teenager stayling in a 2-storey family room. The room is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The dinner was a hotpot set which was delicious. The hosts provided useful information of the nearby ski resorts and the transportation ways to us. They are nice and friendly. There is a cozy space for our lazy-bone time after dinner. A free hot bath with an outdoor snow view through the window is also the unique feature. The location is just beside the base slope of the Tsugaike ski resort where you can easily ski-in and out. In general, I would certainly recommend this lodge for others.
