Negative: Breakfast was disappointing, disenganged staff and it felt like a conveyor belt; we weren't impressed with full Scottish breakfast quality

Positive: Been here before and its location is just superb. Plenty of game/jigsaw/puzzles options if you didn’t have your own. Food was good and hot and staff were attentive.

Negative: Nothing to report here all was good.

Summary: Fabulous location and value for money. Staff attentive and you could not want for more if you asked questions.

Positive: The hotel is a beautiful old building in a fabulous location. There are easily accessible lovely walks and sights nearby. The rooms were nice and clean and meals were tasty with great service. Staff were generally lovely and helpful. Nice to have such a lovely historic building provide more affordable holidays in beautiful locations.

Negative: As a Lochs and Glens Coach Tour hotel it’s a little rigid in meal times. We were visiting with a toddler and 6:30 is too late for a dinner. Breakfast at 8:30 for someone up at 6:30 is quite late also. We visited to meet family on a coach tour so made the most of it but in other circumstances would have stayed elsewhere so as to get more convenient meals.

Positive: Ok this is our second stay, we did it exactly one year ago and we done it Saturday, only wished we had more time. There was a lot of the same staff who recognised us aw we did them. They are warm and friendly and can’t do enough for you. Thank you.
