Summary: This is a great house within close proximity to 1-95 the Post Road and Metro North but you’d never know it. Tucked away in a cute neighborhood in Darien close to Weed Beach (about a mile as the crow flies), few blocks from a great deli and very short drive to Darien town center and just a bit further to Stamford or Norwalk. Cute and private back yard with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs are perfect for evenings outdoors and the patio furniture adds additional functionality allowing for breakfasts/coffee/picnic dinners if you enjoy being outside. The kitchen has everything you need for making meals and dishes and cutlery are high quality. Beds are very comfortable and overall you could sleep more guests than what the hosts lists it for. Host was very communicative and accommodating. In short, a great spot for a family vacation or weekend getaway in Connecticut’s southwestern “Gold Coast”. We will definitely return.
